- I am giving up candy and shopping for myself for Lent. This means:
- No online shopping buying random articles of clothing or make up or whatever for myself. I can shop for the Husband though. But he never wants anything. I don’t think I’ll have to worry about a dramatic drop in weight loss to the point of needing new pants, as I have a crap load pants right now that are too small. Go me.
- No Candy. That is pretty simple. It’s not as if I sit around and devour bags of M&Ms or anything. But I do tend to snack on it when bored. That’s over with now. No more running to my coworkers office for a hershey kiss. No more stealing reeses peanut butter cups from the communal candy jar. Nothing.
- Hilarious Post about how Obama is Ruining Our Country
- I am resting today. 3 days of running was good for me, made me feel awesome, but now my legs and body needs sleep. I am getting my hair did, and will post pictures ASAP. I am excited about getting my hair done, always makes me feel amazing.
- Tomorrow will resume running with a 3.1 miler and then Friday will be my long run day.
- But seriously… did you watch The State of the Union? What were you thoughts? I promise not to argue if they differ from mine. I just want a general consensus on how people felt about what was said. I was amazed at how emotional I got during it though. Especially during the Gun Related talk about how these people affected by Gun Violence deserve a vote. Which is true. That is the undying point of democracy. We all get a vote. I straight up started crying, and Husband was like “What is wrong with you?” Yeah he needs to work on that. Asking a crying woman in a condescending tone anything will get you the death glare, which he got. (He learned his lesson

- Champagne Gummy Bears ERMAHGERD

- Need this print of Chuck Norris
- My New Boots:

- Nine West Boots – SaasyFran
- Better Picture:

- I would be wearing them today, but there was a chance of rain and they are suede that I haven’t scotch guarded yet.
- Well I better get to actually working… bah.

I usually participate in Lent but this year I am not. I figure, I have dealt with enough loss & sacrifice in my life the last few months (and presently) that the 40 days of Lent are a cake walk in comparison.
If you feel the urge to shop, you are welcome to buy me things.
I did not watch Obama’s speach last night…but my MIL did…and the two of you should NEVER EVER EVER meet.
