Indoor Workout – Hurricane Sandy To Thank

Since I ran yesterday I planned on a circuit training type thing for a workout, but then had dreams of a really long walk outside – I love fall weather – well the weather today is a bunch of crazy so I decided walking outside would be a bad idea.

So I Improvised!

Hurricane Sandy Circuit Training

  • 10 Bicep curls
  • 10 Wide Grip rows
  • 10 plank rows (10 each arm)
  • 15 crunches
  • 10 bridges
  • 10 shoulder presses
  • 10 upright toe-touches (10 each side)
  • 10 squats
  • 0.25 Mile Run

repeat 3 more times for a total of 4 sets.

Took me about 26 minutes and then I walked on the treadmill for about 5 minutes to cool down, along with stretching.

I forget, if I don’t do it often enough, how much I love strength training.  I really want to build muscle so it burns the fat off faster.

Lifting = more fat burn.  Duh.

I’ve done cardio only forever, and well, it hasn’t worked.

Let’s see what 2 days strength 3 days cardio can do.
