Plan of the Day:

  • Breakfast: English Muffin with PB2, coffee
  • Snack: Apple
  • Lunch: Turkey Wrap with Carrots and celery and Tzatziki Sauce, Yogurt
  • Snack: Banana
  • Dinner: Hopefully Greek
  • Activity: 2.5 Miles running (Stretching out legs before tomorrow’s 8 miler

Time got away from me today before it even started.  There is too much going on tonight to cram in a 8 miler, so I am going to set my alarm for tomorrow morning at 8am to wake up and go.  Let’s hope the weather is as awesome as it has been.

My Sister in law and her Boyfriend welcomed their first child together last night at 10:22.  Memphis James Taylor – 21 inches, 7 pounds 6 ounces.  Looks adorable in his picture.  I’m sure Jessica (Sister in Law) is happy that this part is over and she begin to get to know the little guy.  I look forward to meeting my new nephew.

This just shows that if we ever have kids, we need to level the playing field and have a girl.  I need more pink in my family.  Well that’s stereotypical.  If my daughter loved blue and GIJOE I’d be okay with that.

I’m going to do 2.5 miles after work – either outside (depending on weather, and if the Dog Kicker is outside or not) or in.  Don’t really care either way because it’s so short.  Though it might be better to do it outside so I won’t be so Struck in the face tomorrow.  I’m way too nervous about running outside.  I think its a mixture of not wanting people to look at me, and afraid that someone will make fun of me as I take a walk break.

Gosh Hot Coffee is so good.

It’s rainy and cool this morning and while that normally excites me I think I am still coming off of vacation vibes as I am just tired.  I also need to go to bed before like 11pm or later.  We need to get back into the routine of getting up earlier and getting to work earlier so days like today will be over faster.  My mornings seem to go by pretty quickly, but the afternoons are where I lag.

I have to leave at noon today to go home and be with the Moody dog while he recuperates from whatever big he caught and to help me recuperate from the remnants of my cold.  I’ve been fighting it with Dayquil/Nyquil all week but I think I need to just rest  a bit.  So my afternoon is meetings and conference calls that I can do from home, so that is what I am going to do.

I have 9 days till my next race!
