I ran 6 miles this morning in 1:02:23. This is amazing because I pretty much worry myself into a tizzy before every run I do now – once you’ve been injured as much as me you get a little crazy – and this morning I has this odd sense of calm after breakfast. I hopped on the treadmill and ran the first 1.4 with no problem, not even a walk break. I then decided to take it easy and do 4 minutes running 30 seconds walking.
The resulting run was amazing. Yes I felt tired and at times my legs were heavy but overall I was very happy with it. If I push myself I’m wondering if by November these 10ks could be done in 10’00″ miles. That would be pretty sweet.
I promptly started eating everything in sight to refuel including chocolate milk. Tomorrow is insanity!

Thanks girl! I’m feeling more confident and now I just need to fully transition that into my eating as well!
