Weigh In Wednesday

Emotion: I believe.

One day on plan, and this.  I believe.  One day on a plan I know.  One day on a plan I used to complain about.  One day on a plan that worked before.  One day on a plan that I used to say wasn’t for me.

Why did I stray?

I got tired of having to work at something.  I got tired of having to count things.  I got tired of not being able to eat a ton of bread.

Well, I’m back.  Why?  Because I am tired of being overweight.  My BMI is still above healthy.  My body still isn’t where I want it.  I’m still straining for energy.  I’m still unhappy.

I’m not saying MyFitnessPal doesn’t work, or that TDEE doesn’t work.  I believe that both do in fact work.  Just not for me.  I think there are so many plans tailored to different needs because we all operate differently.  This is why things like The Zone, South Beach, Atkins, Jenny Craig, Skinny Girl, etc. are so widely popular.  Because for some people they work.  That’s why we have options for everything in our lives.

I know some of you will recognize two certain famous WWer’s in that commercial!  Miss Suzi Storm and Miss Renee Skinny Chick!  I actually saw this yesterday (while watching hulu at work… whoops.) and it was seeing this commercial that reminded me.  I’ve been lucky enough to converse with both of these ladies via Twitter/facebook and blogs, and I’ve learned so much from them.  It was that moment that for better or for worse I was going to rejoin and track everything I had and would consume that day.

Not too shabby I might add.

And I even had Dessert

I’ve come to the realization that my butt, among other things, is like an elephant.

So true.

I am by no means saying that this will be easy.  Because it won’t be.  There will be days, weeks, months, where I don’t give a crap to track.  It will be a test to myself, and I am thinking I am ready to take it.

Plan of the Day:

  • Breakfast: Smoothie (1 cup milk, strawberries, 1/2 banana, blueberries, 1 scoop trutein), English muffin w/ PB2, Coffee w/ skim milk
  • Snack: Apple or Pear
  • Lunch: romaine topped with turkey meatloaf and balsamic vinegar, yogurt, carrots, diet pepsi
  • Snack: Apple or Pear
  • Dinner: Mahi Mahi tacos with sour cream and onion
  • Evening snack: Debating between a beer and a Yogurt Pop

Activity: 3.5 miles on the treadmill

OH!  The final I took on Monday I passed with a B!  I also took my last final yesterday!  Waiting on the Grade now!
