I wasn’t really shocked by the gain of yesterday. I knew I had an off week. I’m just tired of ‘off weeks’, ya know?
We did nothing for the fourth. I got up at did my run of 3.2 miles and then went to get my hair did. I got the Brazilian Blowout!
If you have ever seen me in real life my hair has never done this. EVER. It never just lays down and chills. It frizzes, curls in random places, stays straight in others. It freaks out in the heat and cold. If I open the oven when I am cooking something that makes my hair frizz almost before your eyes.
But no more. Well at least for the next 3-4 months. More likely than not 3. But still. THAT GETS ME THROUGH THE HUMID MONTHS.
I can’t tell you how excited I am to just be like “Of I don’t feel like blow drying my hair” and have it still look like that. I get to sleep in 30 extra minutes now.
NO JOKE.
The draw back is, it’s too expensive to do every 3-4 months, so this may be the only time I hair hair like this – until next summer when it dreads and mats up underneath and I start crying to TPWSNBN.
After the hair appoint with my lovely Stylist, we grabbed lunch at Jimmy John’s (LOVE), and then headed to his parents house for a stop by. After an albeit short, but seemingly good, visit (I say it like this, because I am currently not only disappointed but all out LIVID at TPWSNBN’s little brother who is acting like a selfish child), we headed to Target for what else than random purchases. I love that place. It’s like the best place ever.
We then headed home and pretty much hunkered down for the remainder of the day/evening. We cooked steaks inside (It was too hot for SOMEONE to grill) and sweet potato fries. And of course Beer.
Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale – My New Favorite Beer. I feel bad that I wasted so many years on Liquor and Wine when there was this great drink so close by. *sigh*
So after we ate, drank, and were merry – we headed to bed, way too late, and then sat up and talked for an hour, thus making me so tired this morning that I actually slept in a whole 1/2 hour. Which with my hair, I can occasionally do that now. It’s beautiful being this lazy. Whatever works guys.
Well for once in my life, I am actually swamped at work!
xoxo

Your hair looks great!
How much does it cost..?
Depending on length of hair I think 300-500 – but I didn’t pay that
Yikes!!! I’d love to have that done cause I have like permanent-frizz during the summer. It’s like I wash my hair and mousse it.. then it goes right up into a pony for the whole season.
Nice job on getting a deal!
